Associate Director of Experience Design
At Connelly Partners, the Associate Director of Experience Design leads the day-to-day operations of the Experience Strategy practice. They oversee the development and delivery of every UX artifact and project that flows through the organization. This position gets its hands dirty — and delights equally in creating a great document for a client and in helping guide a junior UX designer to great work of their own.
The right candidate will be able to point to artifacts they’ve developed — wireframes, information architecture, user flows, journeys — and explain the thinking and process behind them in ways that both clients and internal teams find valuable. They’ll understand the value of collaboration with visual designers and technology teams — and will foster that level of communication in junior UX teams.
The Associate Director will operate with at least 90% independence from upper XS/XD management. They will have extraordinary latitude to establish and evolve the way in which our agency approaches UX, in collaboration with in-house brand and experience strategy teams.
