Junior Web Developer Internship

Internships can be boring, they can be monotonous, and when you say you’re an intern, most people think coffee, copy machines and fact checking. Not this time! Connelly Partners has created a fully immersive and unique internship experience. Not only will you work on an awesome, tech savvy and utterly goofy team of developers, but you’ll be getting hands on experience coding real websites for clients. You will be considered a full-time employee working on a cross functional, agile team. The projects change week to week and by the end of your time here at Connelly Partners, you’ll have a full portfolio of clients across a variety of verticals. Who knows, you may even have a full-time job here when it’s over. In this role, you will join our Development Team on client implementations as well as provide technical support to clients and the Client Services Team.
Qualifications:

Strong communications skills; ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical audiences

Ability to juggle multiple tasks & projects

Keen, analytical mind and an ability to break down problems and debug code

Experience in the following web technologies is required:

HTML, CSS

Experience in the following web technologies is preferred:

PHP, Python or some other stack

Git, SVN or other SCM

Javascript, jQuery

UI Frameworks like: Bootstrap, Foundation

RESPONSIBILITIES
-
Maintain and update current sites including the Connelly Partners website and blog
-
Assist in providing technical consultation and support to clients and Client Services team
- Assist with website development, QA, content population and testing, as needed

Collaborate with other developers to handle client requests
An internship at Connelly Partners means being an integral part of one of our many teams. Through both observation and hands-on experience, the CP internship program is built to provide students with a real-life learning environment where they can be part of the process from campaign planning and concepting to creation and execution. We offer internships in a variety of departments across the agency, though availability for internships in specific departments may vary each semester.
Eligibility: *Senior or equivalent College/University status & post-graduate candidates who are within one year of graduating from a four-year undergraduate College/University.
*Rising Seniors will be eligible for Summer semesters.
Time Commitment: Interns must work a minimum of 15 hours per week.
Compensation: $11/hour
