The primary responsibility of an Assistant Media Planner at Connelly Partners is to provide support for the crafting and execution of media plans. The Assistant Media Planner will help develop plan recommendations across broadcast, print, out-of-home and digital channels, as well as assist in the purchase and administration of all non-broadcast vehicles.

Essential Job Duties:

• Manage all administrative aspects of your clients’ media plans
• Place space reservations, issue insertion orders and develop closing summaries
• Craft and update flowcharts on an ongoing basis
• Monitor buys to ensure proper execution
• Issue buy recaps, budget summaries and reporting
• Analyze competitive activity
• Gather data to assist in the development of media plans
• Analyze opportunities and develop POVs
• Become proficient in available media programs and research systems (e.g. Strata, Scarborough, MRI, comScore, etc.)
• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal Media, Brand Management and Social teams, as well as clients when needed
• Provide support for supervisors

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Strong organization skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Agency media internship or professional experience preferred
