Description
Our agency has experienced recent record growth, and the Talent Manager is an important piece of our staff augmentation across the agency. With an eye towards cultivating an agency that is “Defiantly Human”, the Talent Manager will support the Director of People & Culture (DoPC) in leading all hiring efforts, providing concierge-level service for hiring managers, and by extension upon hiring, support with onboarding, training, and career development activities for all staff.

Essential Job Duties:
  • Review resumes, conduct screening calls with potential candidates and work with hiring managers to schedule interviews. Follow up with candidates on status of interview process and communicate ultimate decision.
  • Lead the development of a standard agency-wide interview process, including ongoing training for hiring managers and other stakeholders
  • Ability to think outside the box to drive an innovative recruiting process
  • Partner with hiring managers and the DoPC to ensure we are hiring high quality candidates that are well-suited to our culture
  • Report on hiring metrics and EEOC requirements via recruiting software
  • Creatively engage candidates on social media and via job posts
  • Assist DoPC and payroll department with onboarding new employees
  • Assist DoPC in the implementation and management of the agency’s performance management process
  • Assist DoPC is devising a comprehensive employee training program that blends the needs of the agency, its departments, and individuals
  • Participate in external events including meet-ups, trade associations activities, college recruiting initiatives and job fairs, solo and with the DoPC

Requirements:
  • The ideal candidate will have a solid background and knowledge in all full-lifecycle recruiting components, including: sourcing, qualifying, networking, assessing, legal, job analysis, and salary trends
  • The ability to maintain and grow your network of active and passive candidates
  • Knowledge of ApplicantStack, LinkedIn Recruiter, Google Hire and/or other recruiting technology tools
  • The ability to work with, assist and support the DoPC in the areas of recruitment, onboarding and employee development

Qualifications:
  • College Degree (required)
  • Minimum 2-4 years of work experience in a talent management role, including a mix of recruiting agency and/or corporate recruiting experience
  • Advertising agency experience preferred
  • Expertise in HR policies and procedures
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to keep departmental information confidential
  • Sense of humor and ability to switch gears quickly
