Account Executive

Account Executives are responsible for the day-to-day administration of marketing and advertising initiatives for assigned clients. Account Executives are instrumental in the development and implementation of new initiatives as well as the ongoing maintenance of existing projects. Account Executives are in direct contact with the client and should maintain the relationship on a daily basis.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Owns the responsibility for the day-to-day management of the account/s.
  • Provides accurate direction to Assistant Brand Manager.
  • Develops good relationships with client and agency team, manages the workflow and client expectations accordingly.
  • Knows the status of all projects at all times; takes every effort to get work done well and on time.
  • Informs Supervisor about the status of all projects and alerts them to any issues 
  • Lead and manage creative projects from initiation through completion with assistance from ABM and/or guidance from AS/MS
  • Keeps agency team informed on any changes in project direction or client/competitive climate.
  • Obtains client approvals in advance of initiating projects, including briefs and specs for all departments and disciplines.
  • Keeps the client informed on the progress of all work for which they are responsible.  
  • Ensures all creative is approved through the agency and client before releasing to appropriate producer or studio.
  • Maintains a strong understanding and adherence to all agency financial and operating procedures and policies.
  • Reviews, confirms and submits accurate invoices to clients.
  • Gathers and analyzes corporate, competitive, and consume information.
 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Agency Experience Required
  • College degree   
  • Basic knowledge of online and offline media, web development, SEO, SEM and social media
  • 2 – 5 years experience in a marketing/advertising agency
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint and/or Keynote, Excel, Basecamp, Slack, or similar systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Professional demeanor
