Search Marketing Manager

The Search Marketing Manager (Paid Search and Social) is responsible for planning, implementing, optimizing and analyzing paid search and paid social marketing campaigns for multiple accounts in a variety of verticals. The ideal candidate will utilize analytical skills in reviewing campaign performance, develop the ability to find key performance insights to communicate opportunities to clients, and will be interested in keeping abreast of industry developments. 

Responsibilities include:

Campaign Strategy Implementation:

  • Planning Paid Search, YouTube, Google Display Network (GDN), Facebook/Instagram and/or other Paid Social campaigns, including but not limited to account setup, strategy development, account structure, creative development, audience development, and keyword list building
  • Inputting campaign builds into Facebook Power Editor, and AdWords and Bing Editor engines
  • Optimization of paid search campaigns through Kenshoo 
  • Actively researching clients’ brands and industries to gain a deep understanding of clients’ business goals to achieve results through Paid Search and Social
  • Reviewing and analyzing competitive sites and verticals
  • Developing Paid Search and Social plans leveraging input from your supervisor, media, social and brand teams to integrate cross-channel marketing efforts

Campaign Management and Reporting:

  • Executing, managing, and optimizing Paid Search and Social campaigns on a daily basis
  • Managing daily campaign budgets and optimizations to copy, creative, landing pages, and keyword bids through channel platforms and Kenshoo
  • Monitoring, tracking and evaluating campaign performance based on client KPIs and baselines
  • Developing insight-rich weekly reporting for client accounts
  • Presenting campaign findings and opportunities to clients

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding of users’ search behavior and its effect on Paid Search strategies
  • Demonstrated performance in prior roles with history of measurable improvement to Paid Search (proven social account performance a plus)
  • Experience crafting and delivering client reporting and presentations
  • Must be able to analyze data and draw critical insights to identify opportunities and make specific recommendations
  • Professional skills in the digital area, including but not limited to search engine training, digital technology, and analytics
  • Excellent project management skills

Requirements:

  • Experience in delivering initiatives on-time with ability to manage multiple campaigns in a fast-paced setting
  • 2+ years of experience in Paid Search
  • AdWords certification a plus
  • Experience with Paid Search management platforms such as Kenshoo or Marin
  • Experience with social media channels
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree required
