Social Media Manager

Connelly Partners seeks a Social Media Manager to work in Boston's fastest–growing integrated marketing agency. We're looking for someone who's a self-starter AND a team player. This person has to be an excellent, enthusiastic and proficient writer. Loves words, images, and REALLY loves to make them work in harmony. Voracious appetite for consuming the latest and greatest social media platforms. Perhaps you are a social media influencer yourself, with a following and a desire to push the creative boundaries in the world of social influence. You have experience being responsible for a project and all its facets, and you’re not just a cog in a machine. You can make decisions and put plans into action. Responsibilities:

• Work with senior team members to create and execute social media programs and plans
• Work with the brand team to manage day-to-day client relations
• Create engaging social content across multiple platforms for a variety of clients on a daily basis
• Mentor interns and assistant managers
• Research social media news, platform developments and trending content ideas
• Monitor social communities and outreach
• Provide detailed social media reporting that includes both qualitative and quantitative analysis
• Research and provide updates to the team on best practices and evolutions in social media marketing
• Work closely with PR team to develop integrated influencer plans that enhance clients’ social plans; may include pitching influencers directly
• Have a thorough understanding of the various social platforms, the strengths and weakness of each, and the opportunities they create.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years social engagement experience
- Strong familiarity with all posting formats & capabilities across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest
- Active personal social channels
- Agency experience preferred
- Excellent writing skills
- Active personal social channels
- Aggressive, go-getter attitude
- Presentation and deck building experience
- Keen eye for detail
- College degree with a major in English, Writing, Communications or something with a good story behind it
