Assistant Media Planner

Job description and responsibilities

The primary responsibility of an Assistant Media Planner at Connelly Partners is to provide support for the crafting and execution of media plans. The Assistant Media Planner will help develop plan recommendations across broadcast, print, out-of-home and digital channels, as well as assist in the purchase, implementation and administration of all non-broadcast channels.

• Manage all administrative aspects of your clients’ media plans
   
• Place space reservations, issue insertion orders, develop closing summaries, and reconcile/clear invoices for payment
   
• Assist with digital trafficking and implementation process, as well as monitor campaign delivery, reporting and optimization

• Craft and update flowcharts and budget summary updates on an ongoing basis
   
• Monitor buys to ensure proper execution
   
• Assist in development of plans, POVs, competitive reports and any other needs of support for supervisor(s)
   
• Become proficient in available media programs and research systems (e.g. Strata, Scarborough, MRI, DCM, AdIntel, eMarketer, etc.)
   
• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal media, brand management and social teams, as well as clients when needed
